FreeCol 0.7.3 on January 27th Print

We will be releasing FreeCol 0.7.3 on Sunday, January 27th. This release will fix several bugs, add some new maps and include a tutorial.
 
New Website Print

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website. This site is hopefully both better looking and easier to maintain than our old site. You can now participate in the development of the website, for example by adding more documentation. Read more on How to Contribute.


The design of the old site has almost been untouched since 2002. New content was frequently added, but this is the first time we make larger changes to the appearance. People missing the old site can state their unhappiness using the poll on the Community page. I hope you will eventually enjoy the new site :-)

FreeCol 0.7.2 Released Print

We have now released version 0.7.2 of FreeCol. This release fixes several bugs and adds some new features as well. Some of the major new features are:
  • The game can now switch between fullscreen and windowed mode.
  • The application window can be resized.
  • Zooming on the mapboard has been implemented.
